All new swimmers, either FUNdamental or Competitive, must be assessed by a Pickering Swim Club Coach as a pre-requisite for registration into the Club.  Swimmers should be able to swim a distance of  at least 15m, unassisted.

Assessment Sessions

Our Winter 2019 regularly scheduled assessment sessions are completed.  If you have missed your chance, an alternate assessment session may be arranged based on coach availability.  Contact for further information.

Our next regularly scheduled assessment sessions will be offered on:
*March 5 2019, 5:30pm – 7:00pm, at the Pickering Recreation Centre

Assessment session requires:  the swimmer, their swimsuit, goggles, towel and ~10-20 minutes of time.  No pre-registration is required!

Note: If you cannot make the scheduled assessment session, a limited number of alternate assessment appointments may be arranged based on coach availability; contact for further information.

  • Registration is handled via the RAMP system. (If it is your first time using RAMP, follow their directions to create a logon account.)

  • When registering your swimmer, ensure you select the correct swim program.  You may be subject to additional administrative fees for incorrect or unauthorized registration.
