Your First Swim Meet Guide
Everything parents and swimmers need to feel prepared and confident at their first meet.
Swim meets are structured events that take place over one or more days. Swimmers are grouped by age and will typically race up to three times per session, which can last as long as 4.5 hours. Between races, swimmers build independence, spend time with their teammates, and receive support and feedback from their coach.
