Volunteer at This Meet

Officials and off-deck volunteers use separate sign-up forms. Once scheduling is complete, one assignment grid will be posted for the entire meet.

Officials Sign-Up

Sign up for on-deck officiating positions for one or more sessions.

Each person volunteering must complete their own Officials form, including swimmer-officials.

Meet Volunteer Assignment Grid

This single grid will include officials and off-deck assignments for every session. Once published, it becomes the final source for volunteer assignments.

Before Your Shift

  • Timekeepers and Chief Timers should wear white shirts, black bottoms and indoor black shoes. 
  • Other officials should wear red polos, black bottoms and indoor black shoes.
  • There is no uniform for Off-Deck Volunteers; however, those involved in Set-Up and Take Down should wear clean closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing suitable to a warm pool deck environment.
  • Please bring a refillable water bottle. There will be water refill stations on deck and in the facility.
  • Volunteers are expected to attend their assigned shifts. If you are ill or unexpectedly unable to attend your shift, you must contact the Officials Coordinator at officials@pickswimclub.com

Facility & Parking

Arrival & Parking

  • The facility opens at 7:00 AM on weekends.
  • Parking is free. Additional parking is available at the rear of the building, but there is no internal access from the rear entrance.

Inside the Facility

  • Swimmers requiring a private change area must use the stalls in the Universal Change Room. 
  • The Snack Deck is upstairs near the viewing window and offers food, beverages and retail items for purchase.
  • Photography is permitted. Flash photography is prohibited because it interferes with race starts. Photography/ cell usage is not permitted in change room areas or behind the starting blocks.

Deck Access

  • Only registered coaches, officials and swimmers are permitted in the competition area.
  • Swimmers may enter the pool deck from the changerooms. Everyone else should use the back pool doors at the end of the hall.
  • Spectators may watch from the on-deck bleachers or the upstairs viewing window.
